Tom Nathan is the senior partner of Munday & Nathan. He has tried numerous cases throughout his twenty-eight years of practice and has obtained multiple significant settlements and verdicts. While specializing in medical negligence and product liability litigation in Illinois, he has litigated complex cases in many states throughout the country. Over the years, he has handled many “front page” cases involving road design defects, police pursuits and other cases of national interest. In addition to an active trial and litigation practice, Tom has taught trial advocacy and litigation strategy, as well as authored articles on civil litigation.
Tom graduated with a BA in history from Lawrence University, a MA in History from Northwestern University and a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School. He is a member of the Society of Trial Lawyers, the American Association for Justice, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Wilmette, District 39 Foundation. He has also served on various other boards in the Chicagoland area.
